Having taken all my spare time during the past year, this work would not have been
written without the support and tolerance of my obsessive behavior by my wife of 30 years.
I thank her for loving me enough to put up with The Bushiad and The Idyossey.

I also express my appreciation to Paris Lynn, who read the original manuscript and brought her years of teaching poetry to the job of helping me edit the work. Due to her efforts it is smoother, simpler and more interesting.
